We are a group of like-minded growers of useful heritage plant varieties in the Bellingen area of northeast New South Wales, Australia.
Our climate varies from frost-free coastal areas to inland river valleys and highlands with frosts. Bellingen has an average annual rainfall of 1507ml.
Our January 18 Meeting will probably be at The Youth Hub, Bellingen, between 1.00 and 3.00PM where we will share food and discuss our recent planting, harvesting and seed saving successes and failures. Watch this space for more details when they are available or look for your regular newsletter.

Could we visit your garden?
We are always on the lookout for people (like you) to put up their hand and offer to host a gathering.
Your garden does NOT have to be perfect, finished, or planned by an expert!
We are interested in all sorts of food-growing gardens in our area -
suburban backyards, market gardens, food forests, renters struggling
with pots, new landowners with plans & ideas.
A gathering usually lasts a few hours. You specify the day and time that
suits, and let us know if numbers have to be limited, parking options
and what the access is like. Everyone brings a plate and hopefully a mug
to limit your washing up and we supply most of the tea & coffee.
You may get some personalised gardening tips from the collective
experience of the group.
